Save Records
We have created this tool to help the user to save records from the database (site/ floor/ equip/ point). This allows the user to be able to design a template .....
How to use Save Records
This tool can be access in two locations: DB Builder or Folio
...
DB Builder
1. Select any object from the database: site, floor, equip, or point(s) to update
2. Once selected, click the Tool button which is located on the bottom right
3. A pop-up called Tools will be displayed, navigate to the following: Create Batch Records > Save Site Records
Note: The name Save " " Record will vary. For example, the object chosen was site therefore the name of the application is called Save Site Records.

4. After the option has been selected there is going to be a popup window called Save Site Template where it will display what site is being saved (City Center).

5. Select the Save button located on the bottom right of the popup window.
This will save the site in a folder that can be access through the following:
Window(C:) > Program Files (x86) > FIN Framework > FIN Framework "version number" > var > proj > demo > io > equipLibraries

The pop-up window varies depending on what object the user selects. The slight difference would be renaming the template which is used for the equips. The saved template will always be found in the equipLibraries folder |
Folio
The same is valid when y ou go to Folio, the user can go directly to the Tools button from the top menu and select Save Record.
1. Once Folio has launched, select on the Tools button
2. In the tool list, navigate towards the following: Advanced > Create Batch Records > Save Records

3. After the option has been selected, there is going to be a popup window called Save Records Template window with the following.
Records to Save: a filter to search multiple points
Use Unique navName: use a unique name for the file that will downloaded
...
4. Once filled out, select the Save button to automatically downloaded the file
