Read/ Write Property
We have created this form to read properties from the BACnet device or to write them to the device (if they are writable). The properties that are going to be affected by this Tool are the same ones mentioned in the bacnetProperties.trio file from the .pod (for more info check the BACnet Template)
How to use Read/ Write Property
The user will go to DB Builder
In there open the Connectors menu option at the top. From the right side menu select a BACnet connector and click on the Tools icon. From the drop down choose Read/Write Property.

1. The user will have to select on the DB Builder application which is under the System Integrator section
2. Once inside, the user has to navigate towards the Connector Tree > BACnet
- Underneath the Discover section, it will display a list of connectors that have been added by the user
- The user will have to select on a connector
- If there are no connectors, the user will have to add them by using the Discover button

3. Once a connector has been selected, the user will have to use the Tool button which is located on the bottom right
4. The user will be prompted with a pop-up called Tools where the user will have to navigate to the following: BACnet > Read-Write Property
5. A new window will pop-up showing the selected BACnet connector in the Effected Devices list
6. The first option "BACnet Device Filter" allows the user to create a filter with the desired devices to which the form is applied. This can be done by clicking "Filter", a new window will be triggered to allow the user to configure the desired devices.
- Once the filter is done the user will click Execute (The filter can be checked by clicking "Test" in the left bottom corner and will see the results in the middle)
Finally, at the bottom the user will chose
7. In the Read or Write section, the user will choose the desired action of the form Read or Write and hit Apply

In the end after hitting Apply the user will be sent to Folio, where the jobStatusAll() querry was ran and shows
8. After selecting Apply, the user can go into Folio and type in jobStatusAll() query
- This will display the result of the forms' action
