Overview
The Schedules application allows users to create and manage schedules that automate the timing and control of building systems. Users can customize these schedules based on various parameters, including data types, time zones, and recurring events, as well as link them to calendars for special events. The integration of schedules and calendars enables seamless planning and management of both routine and exceptional activities within the building systems.
Schedules
The Schedules tab in the Schedules application allows you to create and edit schedules that automate the timing and control of building systems. You can customize schedules based on parameters like data types, time zones, weekly and special events. Schedules can be linked to Calendars for special events.

Add Schedule
Click Add in the Schedules section.
The Schedule Info dialog box displays.
Enter the Name and select the required Type and Timezone.
Select the Use a default value check box according to the data type selection and value and click Next.
The Select Schedules Event Type(s) dialog box displays.
Do the following to create a Weekly Schedule only. To create a schedule with Special Events, go to Step 5.
Select Add Weekly Schedule and click Next.
The Create Events dialog box displays.Click Add event in the Create Events dialog box and specify the values for event name, value or use null, start time, end time, and color. Click Next.
Click Add Event to add multiple events to the schedule. Click Next.
Review the Summary and click Save Schedule.
Do the following to create a schedule with Special Events only.
Click Add Special Events and click Next.
The Create Special Events dialog box displays.Select Add Special Event in the Create Special Events dialog box and enter the values for the entry type, event name, value or use null, start time, and end time. Click Next.
Review the Summary and click Save Schedule.
To create a schedule with Weekly Schedule and Special Events, select Both in the Select Schedules Event Type(s) dialog box and proceed to create the schedule.
Schedule info
Schedule Info displays the selected schedule information. This wizard displays when you click Add in the Schedules home page or Reconfigure in the kebab menu symbol (⋮) found on the schedule record.
Name: Name of the schedule.
Type: Select a data type for the schedule from the following options, Boolean, Enum, Number or String.
Use a default value: Select this check box to set a default value for the selected data type. Depending on the selected data type, the following default values display:
- Boolean: A true or false toggle.
- Enum: Enum and Use a default value drop-down lists showing available enum states retrieved from the database. Select the appropriate enum states that matches the points to be bound to the schedule.
- Number: A field to enter the numeric value.
- String: A field to enter the text.Timezone: To select a time zone according to the location. Auto populated based on system time FIN is using.
Select Schedules Event Type(s)
Creates any of the following schedules:
Weekly Schedule
Schedule with Special Events
Weekly schedule with Special Events (Both).
Create Events
Create Events: Create weekly events in the schedule.
Add Event: Creates a new event in the schedule.
Event Name: Name of the event.
Use null: Sets the value to null, which releases the point(s) from being commanded by the schedule.
Value: Sets the value to the point(s) linked to the schedule.
Start and End Time: Sets the time range for the event.
Color: Color code of the event.
Copy Event: Copies the current event to one or more other day(s).
Delete Event: Deletes the current event.
Copy day: Copies the entire list of events from the current day to one or more other day(s).
Create Special Events
Create Special Events: Create special events in the schedule. By default, a special event overrides the regular schedule only during its designated start and end time.
