Haystack Gateway

Haystack Gateway is for customers who wish to import the FIN Stack database over to Niagara.

Importing FIN Stack db to Niagara

First the user will have to follow steps 1-4 from Sync Niagara Alarms page on how to sync niagara alarms.

Then once the user is able to ping to the FIN Stack project, in Niagara, they will right click on the NHaystackServer to select the Learn Structure action.

After Learn Structure has been executed, the Histories, db base structure, and site will be added as you can see below.

If you wish to only import partial of the database, you can use Structure Settings found under the NHaystackServer and select your filters before executing the Learn Structure action.

For example, below I only want the Terminal Brew House site so I use that sites tag. I also only want the AHUs of that site and not the VAVs so I enter ahu and equip. You can see the result next to it with just AHUs imported.

Now lets say we forgot something, messed up, or changes were made in FIN Stack and you want that latest version instead. IF Learn Structure was already executed in Niagara, then the user will have to delete the following three things in the NHaystackServer before executing the Learn Structure again:

1. All of the history imports underneath Histories except "Retry Trigger".
2. All of the folders found underneath Points.
3. The "site" objects that were created right underneath the Config root of the station.
