Add Bacnet Points

We have created this tool to help the user to add the equipment and specific points from it into the database more easily.

How to use Add Bacnet Points

In order to use this tool the user must first go to Folio

Inside the Folio app the user will run "bacnetConn" query in AXON in order to see a list of all the added BACnet connector

After that, from the list of connectors that will show the user must choose the desired connector and select Tools from the top menu bar

In there go to Connectors category and from Bacnet choose "Add Bacnet Points"

A new window will pop-up containing the following options:

  • Site: a list with all the sites in the user's database; the user must select a site to which he wants to copy the points from the connector
  • Floor: a list with all the floors from the previously selected site
  • Bacnet Folder: a list with all the folders that exist on the Bacnet connector. The user can select one folder at the time or if he desires there is an options which allows him to choose "All folders"
  • Points: after selecting the folders a list of the points that are in the specific folder will appear in the bottom section of the window. The user can use the check box in front of them to choose which points to add or do not select any and they will all be added.

After hitting Apply the user can see that the equipment has been created in the specified location and the checked points have been added
