Add BACnet Temp Points

We have created a tool that allows the user to be able to import BACnet points without the point tags to avoid taking up license capacity

• The point records can still be modified through Folio applications.

How to Use

1. The user will have to navigate to the DB Builder tile and select on it. 

2. Open the Connector tree drop-down menu

• Once expanded, open the BACnet tree dropdown 

3. The user will have to select on an existing BACnet Connector

• If a user doesn't an existing point in their Connector Tree and need assistance on how to add connector points, they can find more in this document: Connectors Tree

4. Once selected, the user can select on the gear icon which is located on the bottom left

• This will open a pop-up called Tools where the user will have to select on the Add BACnet Temp Point option

5. When selected, they will be directed to a different pop-up window called Add BACnet Temp Points

• The user will query to which point(s) should have a temporary BACnet Points
  • By default, the query will be bacnetConn

6. Once the user has decided on a query, the user will select the Yes button to make the changes.

• Once selected, the pop-up window will close which signifies that the tool has taken effect.
