Conn Tuning Ref

The Conn Tuning Ref The Batch Apply Tuning Policy tool, allows the user to easily change the tuning policy of one or more records, based on the filter chosen.

Location

The user will go in DB Builder app.

and click the tools button from the slide menu

Then, the nav tree pops up and the user will check the Show Advanced Tools box  and click the Next button to continue,

After clicking the Next button, a window with the Advanced folder will be displayed. In there, the user must click on Image Removed  sign, in order to access the drop down menu that contains the Connectors folder. Again click the Image Removed  sign which correspond the Connectors folder, open the Tuning Policy folder and select the Conn Tuning Ref tool.

After the Conn Tuning Ref can apply these two different ways via DB Builder > Connectors Tree or Folio > Tools. We'll show how to get to both and using the tool is the same on both.

DB Builder Method

To use DB Builder method, the user will go to the DB Builder app.

Then go to Connectors > Tools > Tuning Policy.

Then select the Batch Apply Tuning Policy tool.

Folio Method

To use Folio method, the user will go to the Folio app and click launch

Then, go to Tools > Connectors > Tuning Policy > and select Batch Apply Tuning Policy.

After the Batch Apply Tuning Policy tool has been selected, a widow window will pop up and the user must fill the following fields:

  • Records To Apply ToRecord Filter: Here the user determines a filter for which records the ConnTuning Rec is going to be add.ConnTuning Rec this tool will add the tuning policy too
  • Tuning Policy To Add: From this drop-down list, the user will select a tuning policy to apply to records
