Info

The required fields are:

  • Select The List of Tags You Want To Clone: Here the user selects all the tags they wish to clone. It gets auto-generated based on the object you have selected.
  • The tags selected above will be applied to this filter: Here the user determines where they want to apply the tags.

6. When the fields have been filled out, hit the Apply button for the changes to take effect.

Example:

Cloning some tags

In this example we will add a marker tag and two property tags

Below you can see we are missing the marker tag: hotWaterReheat and the property tags : ahuRef and description, for the rest of the vavs

Now using the nav tree, we want to select Vav-01 because that one has all the correct tags that we need to clone . Once Vav-01 is selected,  we go to Clone Tags tool which can be found  in the Batch Edit and Clone folder and run it.

select ahuRef, description and hotWaterReheat tags to clone. Using the filter we narrow it down to all vavs.

After we hit apply, you can now see that Vav-02 and the rest of the vavs all have the tags we chose to clone
