StackHub

Stackhub allows users to install, update and manage pods.

To access Stackhub just click the option in the right menu, under Advanced Apps.

Stackhub options

Clicking the StackHub button will reveal the following options:

Login

Install new pods

Update Pods

Stackhub App

1. Clicking login will launch the Login to StackHub prompt, where the user can input the StackHub user and password

After 2. After the credentials are input  click click the Login button to complete the process

3.Once  Once logged in, the StackHub username will be displayed and the Login button will be replaced with Logout.

Install Pods

This allow allows the user to install  available available pods. Clicking it will display the Install Extensions form.

After selecting any or all the extensions available clicking the Next button will install them. These will appear in the menu window, under the Extension divider.

Extensions displayed are colour color-coded: those

  • Those for which a newer version is available, will have their version number shown on a red background

...

  • Those for which no update is available will be green.

Update Pods

This helps managing to manage the process of pod updating clicking selecting it will display a form Update Extensions showing a list with of Pods that can be updated.

After selecting any or all extensions, the user will click the Next button which will display a  confirmation window.  Clicking Clicking Update will complete the process.

StackHub App allows the same functionalities as the StackHub Menu option, displayed in the main window.

On the top  bar the following options are present: 

Search box & Search button

Check Updates button

Login/Logout button

Username

The Search box available is used to lookup for available extensions. The Search button commits the search.

Install

Selecting an extension and clicking on the install button will show the version history of that extension, and allows the user to select the preferred version as required. There is also the option to enable the extension on the current project.

The results are shown on a table with the following details:

  name- the extension name

  installedVersion- displaying the version installed or "not installed" status

  latestVersion- the latest version available

  releaseStatus-beta or released

  summary- A short description

  link

  published - the date when the extension was released

  orgRef- entity that released the extension

Check updates

the Check Updates button will display a table containing the pods with available updates.

Upgrade

Selecting an extension and clicking  Upgrade in the upper right corner will display  an upgrade form. Here, the user can upgrade or downgrade the extension.

Login/Logout

This button will launch the Log-in window where the user will input his StackHub credentials. Consequently, if the user is logged in, clicking the button will log him out.Image Added
