Favorites App

The Favorites app allows the user to easily create a 'bookmark/favorite' of the current browser view within FIN Stack.

These 'favorites', can then be clicked on at anytime (similar to how an app works) to bring up that same exact view. 

Accessing the Favorites App

The favorites app can accessed via the App Selection Menu:


Using the Favorites App

The favorite app can be used to add/remove favorites into/out of  your App Selection Menu:

Adding a Favorite

To Add a favorite to your App Selection Menu, first navigate to the exact 'view' that you want to save as a favorite.

Once you've got the exact view up, open the App Selection Menu, and select the "Add" option

The Add button will bring up a form that will allow you to customize the Favorite that is being created. 

Name: Allows the user to 'name' the favorite view that is being created. This name will appear int he App Selection Menu

Icon: Allows the user to select an 'Icon' to rep[resent the favorite. This will appear on the tile within the App Selection Menu

Folder: This allows the user to select what folder level they would like the favorite to appear in. "Root Level" will create a new root (appears in App selection menu). 

Once you are done, hit "OK" to create your new favorite. 

The favorite will appear in "Favorites" section within the App Selection Menu. 

Creating a "sub" Favorite

If a favorite already exists, users may choose to add a sub-level favorite by selecting the existing 'Favorite' in the Folder options. 

Once added, the original "Favorite" will become a 'sliding' tile that will contain the sub options:


Removing a Favorite

To remove a favorite from your App Selection Menu, go to the favorites app and select the "remove" option. 


Then Select which Favorite you'd like to remove (if its under a folder, then it will show the path via '>' as seen below)


Viewing a Favorite

Once a 'favorite' view is saved/created, it can be accessed via the App Selection Menu.

Once the favorite is clicked on, the exact view that was saved to it will come up:
