Customizing Existing Template from a Pod

The user can customize an import a template after creating a database using the Template Wizard. This will allow the user to be able to change the database to their needs.

The user has to have an imported template by using the Template Wizard, this will allow the user to make changes using the DB Builder.

Editing Template

In the DB Builder, the user is able to make changes to the points if needed. Such as:

  • Adding points from connectors
  • Deleting Points
  • Adding Haystack Tags
  • Renaming Points
  • Changing Graphics to a different location in the database

Saving Modified Database

Once the user has made changes to the equip(s) to their preference, they will need to save the equip.

  1. The user will need to open DB Builder, then navigate to the floor.
  2. The user will need to select which equip(s) were changed, then select on Save Template , which will allow them to save the FST file on their laptop/desktop.

       

       3. The user will be directed to a prompt, where they can select what they want to backup. Afterwards, there will be a pop-up window where they can select where to save their FST file in their desktop / laptop.
