Save Records

We have created this tool to help the user to save point records from the database to create point libraries to use with the Batch Record Creator.

How to use Save Records

This tool can be access in two locations: DB Builder or Folio

Open

DB Builder

1. Select any point(s) to save

2. Once selected, click the Tool button which is located on the bottom right

3. A pop-up called Tools will be displayed, navigate to the following: Create Batch Records > Save Site Records

4. After the option has been selected there is going to be a popup window called Save Point Records where it will display what point(s) will be saved and to create a new file for point library.

5. Select the Save button located on the bottom right of the popup window.

• This will save the points in a folder that can be access through the following: Window(C:) > Program Files (x86) > FIN Framework > FIN Framework "version number" > var > proj > demo > io > pointLibraries

Folio

The same is valid when you go to Folio, the user can go directly to the Tools button from the top menu and select Save Record.

1. Once Folio has launched, select on the Tools button

2. In the tool list, navigate towards the following: Advanced > Create Batch Records > Save Records

3. After the option has been selected, there is going to be a popup window called Save Records window with the following.

• Records to Save: a filter to search multiple points

• Use Unique navName: use a unique name for the file that will downloaded

4. Once filled out, select the Save button to automatically downloaded the file
