New Project/Event

This tool allows the user to create program(s) and event(s) that will run on user specified tags to perform special commands on your graphics.

Before using Program/Events

It is important to note that the App Launcher is context sensitive. Context comes from the user's current location in the nav/equip tree.

How Programs/Events works

The user must go to Graphics Builder

Before accessing the Graphics Builder, the user will either select the following options:

  • Graphics Builder > Graphics
  • Graphics Builder > New

      

Tip

If user does not have an existing graphics, user will have to create a graphic. More info on creating creating graphics can be found here: Create Equip Graphic

Then, once inside the app, the Graphics Builder tools can be found on the right hand side of the screen. The user will select on the tool called Program/Events which will be found on the top of the column.

After selecting the tool, the user will be directed to another menu view where it will display two option New Program/Event & Remove Program/Event.

  

New Program/Event

If you pressed on the New Program/Event option, it will be followed by a pop-up screen.

The user has two options: 

  • Program: This will direct the user to a popup window where you can create a program without opening program editor
  • Event: The user will be directed to a popup window where they can create an event without opening program editor

The required fields to fill out are:

  • Program Name: The user can choose a unique name for the program
  • Program Target: Here the user can simply copy paste any ID or query that will create the desired target selection
  • Program Trigger: This will cause a trigger to the program to run. Fore example, one of the program trigger is called Mouse Over. This will make the program run only when the mouse is over the graphics.

The final stage will be a confirmation, the user will be able to modify his variables by being able to edit the variable name and select the point's name. This will give the user to be able to be specific var
