Alarm block

The alarm block contains an alarm routine. Its purpose is to simplify creating and managing alarm programs. See  an example of a simple alarm here.

More details regarding alarms can be found in the Alarms App documentation here.

The alarm block can be found in the Block Library, under the Language folder.

Overview

The alarmBlock has an option to select a variable that triggers from the "Select a variable" dropdown.

The block contains both inflow or outflow gates (the teardrop shaped links). This means that the alarm block can be triggered by a link, and can, in turn, trigger further actions, like sending an email for example.

By default, below the gates  are the following fields:

alarmText: - This will be the title of the alarm.

instructions: - Here the user can input a few instructions

priority: - Optional. It is a number type value.

cost: - Optional

Further down, the Add tag option, allows the user to add further tags as needed
