Create History Sync Jobs

The Create History Sync Job form allows the user to auto-creates jobs to sync histories to Niagara

  • It also staggers the jobs in intervals of 50 points at a time so that the station isn't overloaded all at once when pushing the histories.

We will be working with BACnet tree however the following steps are similar to the Haystack tree

1. The user will have to select on the DB Builder application which is under the System Integrator section

2. Once inside, the user will navigate towards the Connector Tree to select a connector(s)

3. Once a connector has been selected, the user will have to use the Tool button which is located on the bottom right

4. The user will be prompted with a pop-up called Tools where the user will have to navigate to the following: Create History Sync Jobs

5. After selecting the tool, a window will pop up called Create History Sync Jobs which will inform the user how many points its going to sync

6. To view the changes the user will have to select on the Jobs application which is under the Advanced Apps

7. Once selected, to view more detail about the job they will need to select on sync bacnet and haystack point

  • This allows the user to run, duplicate, trash, or disable the job. It will also allow the user to view further details and status of the job

Syncing Older Data

This tool starts syncing the data starting from the day its ran (today). It does not sync the previous history data. If the user would like to sync previous history data, they would have to run a query or job, depending on how much history data they want to sync.
