If you don't see the FIN notification icon on a Windows OS, follow FIN Notification Icon doc to make it appear.
FIN Service
On WINDOWS OS
After installing FIN, the user should have a little FIN icon in the bottom right corner next to the clock( in Windows OS) as a symbol of the FIN service.
When the service is running, the icon is blue and when the service is stopped, the icon turns red.
On MAC OS
After installing FIN, the user should have a FIN icon in the dock and a terminal window running the service.
When the service is not running the light circle should not be under the icon and the terminal should not be opened.
How to stop the FIN
On WINDOWS OS
In order to stop the service, the user must right click on the blue icon and select Stop Service option.
On MAC OS
In order to stop the service the user must right click on the terminal icon and hit Quit and do the same on the FIN icon as well.
How to start the FIN
On WINDOWS OS
To start the service, the user must right click on the red icon and select Start Service option.
On MAC OS
To start the service, the user must click on the FIN icon in the dock
In case it kept here, or go inside Applications and click the FIN in there
How to change the heap size
1. In order to change the heap size, the user will double click the FIN icon, or right-click and select Configure option.
2. This will open up the Properties menu for the FIN Stack services.
3. In this new window, the user will switch to the Java tab.
4. In here to change the heap size, the user will change the Maximum memory pool from the default 512 MB to the desired size.
Example: 8192 and hit apply. Best to increase in increments of 512.
32-bit JVM max heap is 4GB if available. If more is needed, you'll need 64-bit JVM
5. After this change, the user needs to stop and start the FIN service, for the change to take effect.
