Roadmap items for upcoming versions

Wondering what tickets will be fixed in the upcoming versions? We have an Advanced Requests Report tool that can be utilized to view upcoming versions with their respective tickets to be fixed. Below we’ll go over how to access and use the tool. This is only available to our authorized FIN Distribution Partners and authorized FIN Resellers.

Accessing the Advanced Requests Report

  1. Go to the J2 Customer Service Desk portal and log into the user account.

  2. Click on the user account settings towards the top right corner.

  3. Then select the Advanced Requests Report option.

 

Using the Advanced Requests Report

The Advanced Requests Report has a lot of useful filters that the user can apply to filter certain tickets they want to view. Below we’ll show how to filter for the tickets that are scheduled to be fixed for the next release version of 5.1.3.

  1. First, go to the More filters button

  2. Then check the box for Fix versions

 

3. Then search for the version you would like to filter for. In this case, we are looking for 5.1.3. You can use the Search bar or scroll bar to find it.

4. Then select the Search button to filter out the tickets based on that version.

 

That’s it, now all the tickets will be filtered by that version that was selected. If you would like to learn more about what some of the status mean, please refer to our Jira Service Desk Guide for more information.
