Alarm Subscriptions 

With the Alarm Subscriptions setup, the user will be able to have emails sent whenever an alarm is generated.

How to setup Alarm Subscriptions

In order to set an Alarm Subscription, the user will have to: 

1. Select the App Launcher icon on the top left

2. Select Host App under Advanced Apps

3. Select the Users option, this will display all the active and inactive user list

4. Select what user will like to receive alarm emails by clicking on the Edit User button

5. Navigate to Custom Properties, select the dropdown arrow for either Topics Email Digest or Topics Email Immediate as needed

• Topics Email Digest: Applied to user records to indicate which topics the user is subscribed to for daily digest email delivery
  Note: Make sure to configure the Daily Digest Time so that the email can be sent on the specified time, otherwise nothing will be sent until this is configured.

• Topics Email Immediate: Applied to user records to indicate which topics the user is subscribed to for immediate email delivery

6. A display called Topics will open, select which topics is going to be subscribed for a daily digest/immediate email delivery

Assigning Alarms

If the user wants different users to receive a certain alarms, they would have to create a separate alarm topic for each different type they would like. To create different alarm topics, use the tool called Create Alarm Topic.

Off time and Resend Alarms

To stop alarms from being sent out at midnight due to start of a new day and resend multiple emails from same alarm, then read the following document: Set Immediate Subscription Off Time.
