Rebuild Cache

Whenever a structural change to a station is made, by adding or removing a Component or History, invokes an action on the NHaystackService called rebuildCache. By invoking rebuildCache, it causes the NHaystack Server to traverse through the entire station and rebuild all of its internal data structures, so it can keep track of how everything in the station is interrelated.

This can be executed in either FIN or Niagara

5. Select the tool gear icon.

  • This will open up a Tool pop-up window

6. Select the following: NHaystack > Rebuild Cache

7. Once executed, refresh the connector

Rebuild Cache through Niagara

  1. Open Niagara workbench

  2. Open the Station

  3. Navigate to Config > Services > NHaystackService

  4. Once executed, refresh the connector
