Building Image Slices


We have created a Building Image Slices form that allows the user to be able to upload multiple images to Graphics Builder and in the same view be able to bind the images to a point.


Note

It is important to note that the App Launcher is context sensitive. The context is from the location in the nav/equip tree.

How to use Building Image Slices

1. Select on the Graphic Builder application which is under the System Integrator section.

Note

User needs to either be creating a graphic or opening an existing graphic. Else the application Building Image Slices will not open in the Graphics Builder.

2. Before accessing the Graphics Builder app, select the following options:

Graphic Builder > Launch

a. Select the Open Graphic folder icon

b. Select an existing graphic

c. Click on Open

Graphic Builder > Launch

a. Select the Open Graphic folder icon

b. Select an existing graphic

c. Click on Open

Graphic Builder > Menu

The Menu option will open a side menu that will display all aviable graphic(s), the The context is from the location in the navigation bar

a. Select on the graphic(s) available, the drawer will open and will contain options for the selected graphic

b. Select the Edit option

 

 

3. Once inside the app, the Graphics Builder tools can be found on the right-hand side of the screen.

4. Select on the following: Magic Button > Building Image Slices

 

 

 

5. There is going to be a popup window with the required field to execute what you want based on the number of image slices you want to create/upload. The required fields to fill out are:

  • Enter the number of images that are going to be sliced: You can slice from 1 image to 100 images at the same time

6. When the fields have been filled in, click Apply and the form will move to the next stage.

7. This next stage will be to the number of images, in this case 1 image, in the following prompt.

8. When the file has been selected, select the Apply Button

9. On the left-hand side of the popup, an icon of the image that was upload in the previous will be displayed.

  • The binding points that are showing in the right-hand side will display the points in the current tree is located.    

10. The final stage will be a confirmation, it has 3 options to resize the image:

  • Keep Original Size: This will keep the original size of the image(s) that are upload in the beginning

  • Custom Size: The user has an option to resize the image(s) to their own preference, this will affect all of the images in one single view.

  • User Layer Size: Will format the image to be the exact same size as the default layer size (1280px)
